Lee Spring is seeking Manufacturing Engineer to join our Headquarters' team.

The primary function of the engineering assistant intern is to provide support for engineers and perform data entry for the engineering system.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs tasks requiring application of standard mechanical engineering techniques and procedures. Standard design of mechanical systems. Assist lead engineers with various project duties. Other duties as assigned.

  1. Perform duties and tasks as prescribed in company policies, procedures and work instructions.
  2. Create and maintain stock codes.
  3. Preparing drawings and diagrams.
  4. Create and maintain cost estimates.
  5. Resolves engineering problems by collecting and analyzing information.
  6. Create and maintain quotation acknowledgements to meet cost standards by preparing cost analyses.
  7. Create and maintain factory orders (jobs).
  8. Miscellaneous data entry, communications, filing or other tasks as determined by the company.

Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a 2- or 4-year mechanical engineering program, or have two years' work experience in equivalent related field.
  • General knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office, and SolidWorks.
  • Excellent verbal skills, Logical Reasoning, Attention to Detail, and Written Communication Skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident.
